New Public Home Page Feature for myICLUB Investment Clubs |
4/29/2025 |
Clubs now can publish a public page with information for guests and visitors.

If you would like to share basic information about your investment club to visitors and potential members, you can now publish a Public Home Page from myICLUB.com. This can be useful in introducing your club to potential new members.
The Public Home Page settings are available in myICLUB.com in Accounting > Utilities. The club's adminstrator is the only individual who can publish or disable the club's public home page.
There are a number of content and preferences options for your club's home page. All of the content pieces can be enabled or disabled as your club prefers. No personal information of members is ever published, and the total value of the club's portfolio or of any individual holdings is also kept private. Only the percentages of holdings of the total portfolio and the gain/loss of individual securities is displayed on the page.
The content pieces and preferences include the following:
- Portfolio Heatmap.
- Portfolio Holdings.
- Portfolio Diversification Graphs.
- Portfolio Performance Chart.
- Portfolio Control Panel. (Only for stocks with linked Stock Selection Guides.)
- Watch List.
- Files. (Only files marked "Public" in File Storage will be shown. Tip: Add a welcome document to your club's File Storage and mark it public so that it appears here.)
- Contact Us. (Enables a form to allow visitors to send a message which is relayed to the Contact email address set in the Public Home Page settings.)
- Exclude from search engines. (Some search engines do not respect this setting.)
By default, every club's home page is disabled. If you decide to deploy a home page for your investment club, your club's administrator must select from the above options and then publish the page.
Note: myICLUB does not encourage the use of the home page for the purpose of publicly soliciting members, which can run afoul of SEC securities advertising rules. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rules state that investment clubs are exempt from requirements to register as public securities if they meet certain criteria and do not engage in certain activities. These include having fewer than 100 members, and all members participate in the club’s decisionmaking with no “silent” partners. In addition, clubs are prohibited from explicitly and publicly advertising for members. Clubs may invite individuals to contact them for more information or to arrange a club visit, and the Public Home Page can facilitate these kinds of interaction. (See more on the SEC website).
