In May of 2024 Southern Copper issued a special dividend, which can be handled with a stock split transaction in myICLUB.com

To enter a Stock Split, go to Accounting > Securities > Stock Split

Details:

• Date: 05/23
• Symbol: SCCO

 Click Continue

• Shares After Split: 1.0104 times the number of existing shares.
  • For Example, if you had 100 shares of SCCO before the dividend, you would enter 101.04 shares. Do this even if your statement only shows whole shares, because otherwise the site will give an error if you enter cash received from Southern Copper.
• Split ratio: The site will normally fill this in automatically, but if it doesn't, then use 1.0104 for 1 as the ratio.
• Cash for fractional shares: Check your broker statement for any cash related to the transaction. Most often the statement will list is as Cash-in-Lieu.
• Account: Most often this will be your brokerage.
